Bilaspur of Himachal Pradesh is different from Bilaspur cg or Bilaspur of Chattisgarh. Though this Bilaspur does have a long and colorful history, contemporary Bilaspur is almost a new city that has been built in place of the original city by this name which had to be submerged when dam was built on Sutlej river.
