Devil’s Kitchen


Contrary to what the name sounds like, the Devil’s Kitchen Panghagani is said to be one of the sacred places on earth. People believe that this place used to be the abode of the legendary Pandavas making it one of the most visited Indian tourist places. You will be surprised by the exotic range of fauna which is present at the Panchgani hill station.

The entire area is surrounded by coastal plains and even hilly terrains offering you a very dynamic and even serene view. This place is the most calming place in Panchgani which you just can’t miss out on.

The kitchen devil is located south of the well-known tablelands. One of the reasons why this place got its name is because people believe that the Pandavas would use this part of the land for their cooking. Another place to see in Panchgani is the Pandvgadh caves which the Pandavas were also said to have built.
