Vadodara formerly known as Baroda is the third largest and most populated Indian city of Gujarat. It is dated back to 9th century according to archaeological and historical findings. It is one among the four cities in Gujarat with a population of over one million. Vadodara Gujarat is also known as Sayaji Nagari, after its able ruler, Maharaja Sayaji Gaekwad III or as Sanskari Nagar, meaning City of Culture owing to its status as the cultural capital of Gujarat.
