Andaman and Nicobar Islands

Andaman and Nicobar Islands consists of over 300 islands spread across the North, South and Middle which are collectively called Great Andaman. The Nicobar islands comprises of about 19 islands. The prominent islands are Nan cowry, Katchall, Sentinel islands, interview islands, Landfall Island and car Nicobar. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands Maps would show one that it is located on

Also there are fern varieties of trees such as Cyathaeceae which are also found in huge numbers. The entire region also has numerous terrestrial animals and marine animals. The common varieties of mammals are the Andaman wild pig, dugongs, dolphins, whales, macaques, shrews, spotted deers, civets and shrews. Also this is a tourist hub with over 200 species of exotic birds, snakes and lizards while the salt water houses various water animals such as sea snakes, eels, turtles and fishes. This has paved way to Andaman and Nicobar Islands tourism. There are various hotels in Andaman and Nicobar Islands to accommodate the tourists.
